Overall I would say this was not a good week of running for me. Just didn't feel good the whole week and didn't even do my Saturday run because I thought it would mess up my Sunday long run. However ... my Sunday run (20 miles) felt really good so that made up for the bad week! I think I just had a hard time recovering from back-to-back Sunday 18 mile runs. So we'll see how I do this coming week after yesterday's 20 miler!
Here are my stats for the week. Not too bad for not feeling very good. 38 total miles run this week but I missed Saturday's 4 and the hills I was supposed to do on Wednesday or Thursday. Next week will be better!
I spent one night going through some of my race stuff and made a shadowbox for last year's White Rock Marathon and a scrapbook page for the DRC half (my first-ever race). It's nice to have some of the junk out of the shoebox in my closet and up so I can see it and have some inspiration. :)
Tomorrow is my fast day. Supposed to be a 4 mile 8:45 pace run. Gonna really try to keep the pace this week!
