Today starts week 13 of my training. Pretty cool because week 13 ends with my Sunday long run on Halloween. Seems appropriate. :) Today's run was just 4 miles but Tuesdays are my fast day. It was an 8:45 steady pace run. And because my legs are still tired from Sunday's 20 miles, I struggled today. But I did it!! And last week I couldn't so I know I'm getting stronger. Splits today were 8:42, 8:40, 8:41, 8:21 (8:36 average). Extremely happy with that because I wasn't so sure I could do it.
Sure was windy out there this morning which made the first 2 miles difficult but I was loving the last two!
Tomorrow is an easy 4 and I may do hills as well (supposed to do 10 hills this week!!).
