Monday is usually a rest day but I needed to make up for the run I missed on Saturday. Perhaps that was a mistake. Now I know why I rest after my Sunday long run. My blisters and calves and shins were all killing me! Was just supposed to be a steady, easy run. I usually do my Saturday runs at 9:00 pace. Today's splits were 9:40, 9:28, 9:34, 9:57. Not great and it just did not feel like a good run. Tomorrow will be better. :)
Here's me the last mile. I look like I'm in a cave cause that's the only light I could find. My camera doesn't have a flash and I started and ended the run in the dark. School started today so in order to get the kids ready, I'll be doing lots of early mornings!
Tomorrow's run is a 4 mile tempo run at 8:45 pace. Hope I can keep that pace!!
