4 Miles and a Beautiful Sunrise Over the Lake!

Today's run was a 4 mile 9:00 pace steady run.  I ran a little further than I was supposed to but as I was running near the lake, I saw this beautiful sunrise and had to run all the way to the lake to look at it for a minute.  Ran a total of 4.40 miles.  Split times were 8:43, 8:53, 8:39, 8:38 (8:43 average).

And this is what I saw as I was running away from the lake.  The railroad tracks almost looked like they were glowing today and the reflections of the trees were so pretty.  Why did Bob Ross (The Joy of Painting) have to die so young?  He could totally paint this scene and include some "happy trees!"  (I included a picture of Bob Ross below in case you don't know who I'm talking about.  A legend!!  :P)

And here is me.  I haven't been wearing a sweat band lately (didn't want to get a weird tan line... LOL!) but my face is breaking out so bad from me wiping it with my hands that I decided a sweat band is necessary.  I always run with a towel in my belt but I only get that out when my face is completely wet because it's a pain to get out and put back in.

Still feeling good.  Took a little Naproxin this morning because of some pain in my lower left leg  (kinda to the right side of my shin) but it's not too bad.  Gonna keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get worse.  But the run today felt great!  Tomorrow is a 6 mile fartlek run.  Will be fun!
