Slow and Easy :)

Trying to recover!  Still can't believe I missed a run yesterday.  And I almost didn't go out this morning.  But I decided that instead of doing my 6 mile fartlek run, I would just go the 6 miles very slow and easy.  My right thigh is still giving me a bit of a pain so I tried using my left leg a lot more today.  Obviously when you run, you use both legs, but my right leg is always my dominant one and the one I push off with harder so today I switched that and just ran slow.  It was a good run.  But it was totally just done to log mileage.  Splits were 9:08, 9:05, 9:18, 9:13, 8:58, 8:45 (9:05 average).  My new shoes sure felt good though.  And my toes thank me for them!

Here I am at the end of the run.  Whoa that flash sure is bright when it's still dark outside!


Tomorrow is a slow 4.  I think I can handle that.  :)
