I have felt sluggish for the last couple of Saturdays. Not sure what it is but I never feel like getting out the door and my legs just feel stiff. Maybe it's the Thursday hills catching up to me. Not really sure but I do know that this morning I really did not want to go out and run. Here I am staring at my shoes. Sat there for at least 2 or 3 minutes psyching myself up to go.
And the run itself didn't feel good either. I thought I would feel better after the first mile or so but I never did. Splits weren't that bad: 9:15, 8:42, 8:51, 8:30 (8:50 average) but I was struggling the whole time. When I thought I was probably running at about an 8:30, I would look at my watch and it was at a 9:00. Grrr.
Tomorrow will be better! And I get to run 18 miles! Finally a really long run! So excited. :D :D :D
