Another 18 miler. :)

I am loving the distance I'm getting to run on Sundays.  Next week is 20!  Today's run went well.  But I took it easy since my right thigh is still recovering from last week's 18 miler.  :)  Today's overall average pace was 9:23 compared to last week's 9:01.  But I'm still very happy with the run.  I'm supposed to keep these long runs between a 9:15 and a 10:30 pace so I was still running it pretty fast even considering I was taking it easy.  My slowest mile was a 9:45 and the fastest was an 8:51 so I kept it at a pretty steady pace.

I didn't take any pictures during the run.  And I'm a little mad at myself for one missed photo op.  I was running by some condos I never run by and I saw a man in full-out Scottish attire.  Kilt and all.  I wonder if he had bagpipes in his truck.  Anyway, I should have asked him if I could take his picture because I am sure he wouldn't have minded.  But I was in the zone at that point (mile 15).

When I got home, I saw my daughter just getting home from a friend's house and these are the only pictures I took on the whole run and it was already over.  Isn't she beautiful?

And she was soooo excited because she had lost a tooth while spending the night with a friend.  This second picture I missed most of us and the sun was in her eyes but notice the blood on her shirt and the tooth in her hand.  Guess the Tooth Fairy will be visiting our house tonight!  :)
