Hill training minus the hills! :P

Well today was supposed to be my first day of hill training.  Problem is there are NO hills anywhere close to me so I'm gonna have to drive somewhere to do the hills.  Will plan it out better next week.  But for today, instead of being a complete loser, I just ran.  Workout was supposed to be a 2 mile warm-up, 4 hills and a 2 mile cool-down.  So I just ran 4 miles.  I may go find a hill if I have time after work today because I don't feel like I am done with the workout.  I feel guilty!!  If nothing else, I'll run stairs tonight while my son has swim practice.  :)

The run itself today was nice.  I didn't look at my watch at all just to see how I would run without timing myself and I was pleasantly surprised.  It was a good natural negative split: 9:38, 8:56, 8:39, 8:27 (8:55 average).

Saw my friend Paula on her way to work somewhere during mile 2.  That was fun.  And here I am at the end of the run.  It was another sweaty one.


Tomorrow is a 5 mile 9:00 pace run.  See ya then!
