Week 5 Summary

35 miles again this week.  It was a pretty good week.  Most runs felt good.  Still have the issue with the blister on my left foot.  It feels better today so I'm hoping the rest day today will do the trick.  My goal last week was to eat better this week.  That didn't exactly happen all week so that's gonna be my goal again this week.  Here is a chart of the runs I did this week.


Next week the long run increases to 12 miles.  I'm ready to start getting some distance in.  Seems like all I do is short runs.  Of course I'll be complaining when my Sunday runs go to 20!  :)

Stats update.  When I started training 5 weeks ago, I was at 133.0 lbs, 23.0% body fat.  Race goals are 125.0 / 19.0%.  I weigh myself every Monday morning and here's where I am right now: 129.6 / 21.5%.  Very happy about that!!  I haven't seen this side of 130 in months!

Tomorrow's run in a 4 mile 8:45 pace run.  I had a really hard time with that run last week so I'm hoping I do better tomorrow.
